Shuhei Yoshida is PlayStation’s Worldwide Studios President. He was on stage in Sony’s E3 2016 booth earlier today talking about all things PlayStation for the brand’s live stream. During the stream, he talked about various games that he enjoyed and is excited about. Many of them were obviously Sony games. However, it wasn’t all of them. Yoshida expressed interest in Nintendo’s Zelda: Breath of the Wild. He said he’s “very excited” about it and can’t wait for it to release.
Thanks, Simply G
Huh, imagine that.
Lol who isn’t exited for this game? That’s the real question.
Jumping Link! Woot woot! :p
*Noot Noot.
(I’m sorry, maybe I shouldn’t have brought back memories from yesterday’s Ever Oasis reveal.)
Square Onyx was my favourite part.
Finally! We can finally make Link jump when we want him to! I hope he can jump slightly higher than he did when he auto-jumped. But considering Link has to jump to reach a certain part of a wall to climb a cliff, I’m not too worried. Now the reason why I loved using Link so much in Smash is finally brought to life in a Zelda game!
I’m not Exited, but I am Excited.
THATS HOW EXCITED I AAAAAAAAAM!!!
Great save for that misspelling, Anubis! lol
||Kneel…and you shall find…that we are kind…||
Only haters or people who try really hard to find most of the defaults in a game instead of having fun playing it.
Now, if retarded fanboys could just realize that the console wars doesn’t exist, and simply enjoy the games they want, that’d be great…
||The innocence of youth…||
The enemy of mine of late is the lazy attitude parents from the 80’s have towards their children’s entertainment. “Just give them a tablet and be done with it”
They have no idea what kind of world their negligence is breeding for our next generation.
||Indeed…typical negative substitute that twarts humans…but again…the majority of the human cattle are evil…so it probably doesn’t matter…whether they are raised by their parents or dead machines…||
Speaking of, if my wife can, I need to tell her to put a lock on things like regular Youtube on her tablet. Along with a lock on some other things he, a toddler, shouldn’t be using. lol Youtube has a “for kids” app so that should be good enough. Now if only Netflix had two separate versions where one is solely for kids. Oh & Nintendo should do the same for Miiverse so they can stop freaking out over more mature discussions on there!
um…………………………………………
What?
If that’s at the for kids thing for Netflix, I know about the for kids thing they got but I’m more referring to a second Netflix app, like youtube’s for kids app on tablets. The for kids being part of the main Netflix app kind of defeats the purpose of a for kids section since last I checked, there were no password settings for Netflix profiles and the for kids thing is just another profile.
If that’s at the Miiverse thing, Nintendo needs to make two versions of that. Miiverse as it is has become crap because they are trying to make it too family friendly. Just make a for kids version of Miiverse & be done with it instead of trying to make everyone be goody little two shoes for the little kiddies.
ok, I get it now…
You are laying a better foundation than most.
||I have some traning for you if you’re interested…try to beat all my creations…in Super Mario Maker…in order…||
It’s been awhile since I enaged in the trials of your combat training. I accept.
||Try to clear all 8 worlds…I created in Super Mario Maker…in order…||
How can I find these? I’ll dock my ship at the miiverse station and examine your intel to start with.
I cleared every last level in order. This training excercise was quite formidable. While playing I was reminded of Ghouls and Goblins, mega man, donkey kong and Metroid.
||Congratulations, I will put up worlds 3 and 4 later then…||
||How did you find the bosses?…||
The Wiggler centipede was the most memorable being both intimidating and creative. Fighting it was fun from a gameplay perspective once I learned it’s behavior. The giant flying mole was a jumpscare. And there was the boss that was protected by bricks. That one made me especially nostalgic.
||Excellent, I’ll await your next report then, I’ve put worlds 3 anf 4…||
||*and…||
I’d like to say I agree with you, and a year ago I would have, but I’m not so sure now. Recently I’ve been thinking about some of Sony’s and Microsoft’s moves in the last couple generations. Does anyone else find it strange that Sony and Microsoft came up with mid-generation upgrades only after Nintendo announced a brand new console mid-generation. I mean I know that we usually see updated ‘slim’ models and the like, but the Neo and Scorpio aren’t like that. They’re gonna be significant upgrades.
Maybe I’m overthinking this, but it just seems to stand out to me as unusual.
Well, they are still competitors, and want to make the business decisions that earn their company the most, so I don’t find it strange. They don’t go around and hate on each other like a lot of the fans do
Yoshida is a pretty laid back guy, generally speaking.
Always love hearing about the big three playing each other’s systems. I’m so glad they all co-exist happily. At least on the business side of it. The gamer side… not so much.
Nice to hear :)
It’s like when Sakurai streamed himelf playing Fallout 4
its nice to hear rivals excited about games on rival consoles
The man owns 2 Wii I’d (If I remember Correctly) so I’m not Surprised.
Wii U’s
Link spamming the jump while going up a steep hill appears as if he’s skipping, don’t believe me look at the e3 videos.
The demo has some flaws, but I am pretty sure they noticed and will fix them.
Of course he is. I’d be shocked if he wasn’t since he obviously likes playing on Nintendo consoles as much as any other Nintendo fan.
who isn’t excited for this game. no one that’s who.
Sadly, it’s too late to say that. I’ve already seen a few hardcore Zelda traditionalists flipping their shit over this game & how it’s “not like Zelda” or “I want to play Zelda, not Skyrim!”
then they are full of shit. I may not think lightly on the new game because its new to me, and sure didn’t like X, but they should look at it this way. “It’s just trying something new”. We need to break out of our old ways and try a new paths. They claiming that its not zelda then they are somewhat right, Its not the old zelda, its the new zelda…Let me ask, why is it so hard to change something that needs the new look?
You should see Gamexplain’s video that shows the insanely long line for Breath of the Wind’s demo. They’re so dang lucky!
