Pokémon continues to celebrate 20 years with the appearance of the Mythical Pokémon Shaymin!
Shaymin made its first appearance in Pokémon Diamond and Pokémon Pearl, and fans can now get Shaymin with the same moves it had back then, including Seed Flare, Aromatherapy, Substitute, and Energy Ball. This extremely rare Mythical Pokémon is now available and easily obtainable for players of Pokémon X, Pokémon Y, Pokémon Omega Ruby, and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire via Nintendo Network. Get this Lv. 100 Shaymin through July 24, 2016 and visit Pokemon.com/20 to learn how to get it!
Shaymin fans can also now get the Pokémon TCG: Mythical Pokémon Collection—Shaymin, which includes a special Shaymin promo card and a pin of the Mythical Pokémon. The limited time collection also contains two special Pokémon TCG: Generations booster packs. Pokémon toy collectors can get a Clip ’n’ Carry Poké Ball with two-inch Shaymin figure from TOMY International at participating Toys“R”Us stores while supplies last.

Why do they make all these crappy mythical Pokémon now. I wanna go back to the days where the mythical and legendaries actually looked badass
You do realize Shaymin is pretty much the Mew/Celebi of Gen IV, right? It’s not supposed to look badass but cute. Now if you were to ask this on an article about say…. Okay, I’m not the best person to give you an example since I tend to like all of the legendaries’ designs, anyway. lol
Lol yea but mew is the original can’t hate on mew and plus mew features in the best Pokémon movie out there. I don’t see why they feel the need to make a cute legendary/mythical every gen. Shaymin cannot begin to compare to mew
It’s GameFreak, dude. They are big on tradition. Remember that it took them til Gen 6 of Pokemon before they finally used 3D models because they didn’t want to stop using 2D models.
Not to mention a cute Pokemon brings in some girl gamers. Oh & they are a Japanese company. Japanese people love cute things!
I was so excited for this til I discovered they will all be at max level 100. It’s still nice that I’ll finally be able to get all the Mythical Pokemon I don’t have but I would have liked to level it up from 50 to 100 my damn self. The whole reason I’m still into Pokemon is to collect all of them & then level up my favorite Pokemon myself to max level. Now only half of my reason for still playing can be satisfied. :/ Maybe Sun & Moon will have a guy in the game we can actually go to & revert our Pokemon back to a base level of 1 if they have no evolutions. Doubtful but I can hope.
On the bright side, I now have access to Shaymin and I’m one step closer to having 720 out of 721 of the current Pokemon before Gen 6 releases later this year.

*facepalm* I keep forgetting about the gen between Sinnoh (4) & Kalos (6). I was too busy rushing through Gen 5 at the time so it’s a pretty forgettable gen for me.
Not excited for any of the new reveals. They all look dopey as fkk. Hopefully there will be a few decent one’s to redeem the game.
