Sonic Boom: Fire & Ice for the Nintendo 3DS was released in North America yesterday, and will be heading to Europe, Australia and Japan over the next few days to come.
If you haven’t had the chance to get a good look at the gameplay yet, GameXplain have just streamed the game an hour ago, and the archived footage is available on their YouTube channel. You can check it out below:

Doesn’t look half bad. It looks to be aimed at an audience much younger than myself though.
Getting powers with no explanation whatsoever? Yeah. Definitely targeting a young, very young at that, audience.
It really sucks too because Sonic finally has a mature voice in the Boom tv show but I’m not watching it if I’m not playing the games.
I know, I’m subscribed to Gamexplain for a few years now, I watched a few minutes of it.
7.5 out of 10 for a Sonic Boom title that is megatons better than Rise of Lyric.
