One game that some of you may be looking forward to is the upcoming Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns. XSEED has announced that those of you who pre-order the game, which is due to be released next spring, will be eligible to receive a plush capybara. The soft toy will be available at select retailers who will no doubt be announced at a future date. The company has also announced that Rune Factory 4 has sold over 200,000 copies and Story of Seasons has sold 150,000 copies. To celebrate this, XSEED has confirmed that both games will be available for $29.99 on the eShop and at retailers.
Assuming most of these were sold at full price, it looks like they made around 1 and a half billion yen. Those are some pretty good profits. I’m not really interested in plush dolls, but I hope this company prospers all the same.
