SnowCastle Games the development studio behind the well received Earthlock: Festival of Magic would love to bring the RPG to the upcoming Nintendo Switch platform. Snowcastle Games CEO Bendik Stang said that studio “plan to have Earthlock ready for Switch launch in March 2017” if Nintendo lets them. Don’t worry though as the game is still scheduled to come to the Wii U in early 2017 as well.

Oh nice. Got the game free on Xbox, so i probably won’t buy it again. It was pretty good though
I misread the title as Earthbound Festival of Magic and got really excited for a second.
I would question putting any game on a dying console, but I hope they know what they’re doing.
They don’t want to back stab original backers, like Project Cars.

For Project Cars? Almost. But thankfully I found out about it after they had closed early support.

Nah. Dodged it and boycotted.
A few developers have pointed out the Wii U dev kit is very expensive so they feel its a waste to not finish the port.
I hope us backers can move over to the Switch version.
