  1. Good. Disney will treat it better than Cartoon Network did, action show hating channel. I say that cause Regular Show ended, they never had a marathon leading up to it’s series finale, Adventure Time’s ending in 2 more seasons, they probably don’t care, Gumball (thank goodness) Is ending, and all they care about? Teen, Flippin Titans Go! They CARE not of action shows! Yes, they have Justice League Action coming up, and Steven Universe is still going plus a Ben 10 reboot is coming, but how long before they hate on Steven? Or the Justice League? HOW MUCH LONGER?! Once Adventure Time is ended, I’m THROUGH with Cartoon Network, unless they bring back KND, Dexter and Courage!

      • Yes. Unless DC Comics discusses a TRUE Teen Titans follow up, I’m going to be done with this channel! My ideas for a follow up is a TRUE sequel to the 2003 series, taking place two years after Trouble in Tokyo. Where, their outfits have stepped up, Robin and Starfire are still a couple, and we finally see Joker appear!

And my excitement for the Pokémon anime on Disney XD! I’m still happy! I know Nintendo will trust Disney more for any future series they make. Hopefully it’ll be Splatoon next!

      • They make stupid faces, that’s funny, but too me, not so much. Yes, I understand SpongeBob also makes faces, but I’ve been a SpongeBob fan for a long time. I’m used to his. And, Gumball made fun of DBZ in one episode too.

        • While I can’t disagree with you with Gumball, Regular Show is FAR worse.

Between M&R’s stupid memetic antics, their wavy arms/coy smiles, their half-closed bottom eyelids, and Benson condescending adtitude, just the site of the series irks me. And the sad thing is, Benson’s not even characterized to be an exaggerated grouch like Mr. Spacely, Scoutmaster Lumpus, Ed Bighead, or Squidward. He sounds like an actual professional employer, which makes him even less funny, especially when he’s angry. And there’s no way I can take their day jobs seriously. The main setting alone looks more like a sitcom hang-out than an actual workplace. Hell, part of me feels it actually justifies their antics, and discredits anything Benson rags on them for. At least the catering business made some sense in Chowder. But with this series, I don’t know what the niche of the series is, and what managed to win 80% of the internet over for 6-7 years.

If could just rewatch the Cartoon Network I once knew from the Checkerboard era/Powerzone era (minus Adult Swim) and pre-2014 Boomerang, I wouldn’t be so angry with current direction. I know these new/current shows aren’t for everyone, but what are we supposed to watch on actual television. We can’t rely on the internet 24/7, because the past/nostalgia is only as good as our internet connection and the blind eye of Time Warner copyright claimers.

            • What about Adventure Time. I don’t hate the series. I’m just not into it, much like One Piece and Phineas & Ferb. I just can’t get into those shows, but I don’t hate them.

As for the return of Samurai Jack, I’m a little dismayed they robbed him of his youth (I guess that means The Scotsman is dead, and any second chance of Jack and Mira teaming up (on good terms after a proper introduction) is out the window), and I’m a bit iffy about seeing blood and possible gore in a series I knew growing up, that was up there with Dexter and PPG.

The upside however is that he keeps his iconic look since his body hasn’t aged.

But what’s your opinion on Bo-bobo, Time Dominator 1st/Socket, Chameleon Twist, Tempo (32X), Sonic Adventure 2, Baki the Grappler, Cromartie High School, and Knuckles Chaotix?

        • Gumball’s season one tried to much to be like Spongebob, but season 2 going forward, their character personalities completely changed (going from the typical cartoon baffoons into, well, actual 21st-century children/teenagers) and the humor became much more meta and enjoyable.

  2. I tried to watch an episode of Pokemon recently, and I just couldn’t do it.
It was sooooo boring. The animation is nice but the dialog is below kids standards, it’s so cheesy, the jokes (if any) fall flat, little;to no lessons taught, annoying filler, slow paced, nonsensical/useless scenes, and beyond recycled plot/bad guys.
I know it’s a kids show but that didn’t stop it from being enjoyable by any age when the show was still young.
    *sighs*

  4. Any of you want proof Cartoon Network hates action shows? Look at the PPG reboot! Transformers RID, that was way too early on Saturday! And so was Sonic Boom! Just glad that Gendey Tarakosvskhy, if that’s how to spell his name, is giving Samurai Jack’s return on Toonami! They always did action right! Yet, another thing Cartoon Network hated and killed off, Toonami!

So, as I said, any shows Nintendo makes from now on, be it: Metroid, Splatoon, Mario, they should only put them on Disney XD! Disney have been good friends with Nintendo, they trust Disney with Pokémon, and they’ll trust them with any new shows that come.

  5. I remember when Disney XD aired the English dub of Naruto: Shippuden. And outside of editing out a heavy amount of blood and violence, they did “slip up” when Kakashi used his Mangekyo Sharingan to mutilate Deidara’s arm.

    • They were going to FINALLY let Ash win a league, the Kalos league. But, guess what, yep THEY CHANGED THEIR FLIPPING MINDS! ASH’S GRENINJA WAS SUPPOSED TO WIN AGAINST ALAN’S MEGA CHARIZARD X BUT NOOOOOO, THEY DECIDED A BLAST BURN, A STUPID FIRE TYPE MOVE, WOULD BEAT GRENINJA! I DON’T CARE IF IT WAS FROM A MEGA CHARIZARD, IT WAS STILL DUMB! *Pants* Whew, OK, got that rant out.

  6. King Kalas X3 {Greatness Awaits at Sony PlayStation 4! Hopefully it will also await us at Nintendo Switch if Nintendo doesn't FUCK things up again!}

Meh. When Ash finally wins a Pokemon League or they replace him with a new main character, then I’ll care about the anime. If they have no intention of ever getting rid of Ash, why is the show still called Pokemon? Just rename it Ash’s Pokemon Adventures & create a new Pokemon anime that doesn’t revolve around one little character.
