SEGA‘s recent financial report has revealed newly updated sales figures for its biggest franchises including Persona, Sonic the Hedgehog and Like a Dragon. The multiformat Persona 5 Royal has sold a boatload of copies with new figures showing it has now surpassed 8.66 million copies sold. The last Sonic game, Sonic x Shadow Generations, has now sold 3.07 million. Check out the sales figures down below.

Slightly unrelated, but i am deeply irked by Sega and Atlus not treating the Switch 2 as a first class platform to launch their games on. Capcom and Square have made the pivot but Sega, and Atlus, in paritcular, are lagging behind. Feels as though they are leaving a lot of money on the table by releasing Switch 2 versions months and months after they launch on other platforms. And I mean, i dont really care about the money they are making i just want to play persona in bed lmfao.

aaron webber was the guy who turned sonic into a meme series pretty much. he ran the sonic twitter, posted sum funny stuff, then sega thought thats what sonic needed. just ruined the reputation even more. endless BIG ADVENTURE 3 jokes and stupid stuff. webber been got replaced last i heard though
Aaron Webber was t the one that made Sonic start using words like Baldy Mcnose Hair and Gotta Go Fast. Sonic Team got the writers of a Web series called Happy Tree Friends to start writing for the games starting with Sonic Colors and the Social Media accounts were told by Sega Higher uos to adapt to it. Imagine blaming Sonic Quality and games based on the guy that ran the social media accounts and the guy that wrote for the comics that btw was the longest running and most successful video game comic of all time. Games at least 3 years old. I don’t see Yakuza Kiwami 3 listed? That I heard flopped. Weirder I don’t see the Pirate one here either and I think that came out the same year as Shadow Generations.
