SEGA‘s recent financial report has revealed newly updated sales figures for its biggest franchises including Persona, Sonic the Hedgehog and Like a Dragon. The multiformat Persona 5 Royal has sold a boatload of copies with new figures showing it has now surpassed 8.66 million copies sold. The last Sonic game, Sonic x Shadow Generations, has now sold 3.07 million. Check out the sales figures down below.

Slightly unrelated, but i am deeply irked by Sega and Atlus not treating the Switch 2 as a first class platform to launch their games on. Capcom and Square have made the pivot but Sega, and Atlus, in paritcular, are lagging behind. Feels as though they are leaving a lot of money on the table by releasing Switch 2 versions months and months after they launch on other platforms. And I mean, i dont really care about the money they are making i just want to play persona in bed lmfao.

They bring this up to brag about? Most these games are like what 5 years old and on sale this is not a flex. They really need to fire Aaron Webber and whoever else is taking them down this bad path, that Rovio deal was a horrible decision.

aaron webber was the guy who turned sonic into a meme series pretty much. he ran the sonic twitter, posted sum funny stuff, then sega thought thats what sonic needed. just ruined the reputation even more. endless BIG ADVENTURE 3 jokes and stupid stuff. webber been got replaced last i heard though
