News publication Bloomberg is reporting today that Tencent is considering to ditch its long-term investments in some of its video game companies such as Marvelous. The Chinese company is reportedly looking to invest more in artificial intelligence as the company is currently in a heated race against its peers Alibaba Group Holding and ByteDance. Bloomberg says that Platinum Games and From Software. and its parent Kadokawa Corp. remain unaffected.

Honestly I don’t see the point of them buying Ubisoft if it was possible buying Kadokawa would make the most sense for them given they produce anime too.
