If you were hoping to pre-order a copy of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild today on the Nintendo Switch from Amazon then it would seem you’re out of luck. The US retailer doesn’t appear to be taking pre-orders anymore for the Nintendo Switch version of the game, although the Wii U version is still available for pre-order.

How difficult was it to get a Wii U when it first launched? It’s the only Nintendo home system I didn’t pick up at launch.
It wasn’t difficult to get a Wii U at all. You could walk into any Walmart or GameStop and buy one at anytime.

I am getting the game digitally of course.. I will never switch out this cart… so it is better to be on my sd card. This is gonna be my most played game for the years to come.
