Nintendo seems to like introducing smaller characters to host their games, from Swapnote’s Nicki to Super Mario Maker’s Mary O. Continuing this trend, the Switch’s News will feature Amelia. Using a very simplistic art style, Amelia will guide player’s through the features of Nintendo’s newest console as they are released. She seems to have a sense of humour too, providing a bit of personality to the system’s duller updates.
