GameXplain has been testing and trying various things with their Nintendo Switch console and one of those things is hooking up a USB keyboard. Yes, the USB keyboard works when plugged into the dock and you can edit your photo albums or rename your horse in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild using a keyboard. Pretty neat, but there’s nothing to really use it with at the moment unless they bring out another Mario Teaches Typing title.
Thanks to Maxim for the tip!
||This will only please Drybones, your precious internet browser will arrive later this year for the Switch so we can once again gain control over you…||

Mario Teaches Typing 2 confirmed
I can confirm this myself as I hooked up my wireless keyboard that I got for my PS4 a month or so back to it the other day when I was linking stuff to the Switch.
The keyboard support is a nice example of how a small hardware feature can create extra possibilities for customization on the Switch. Since players often spend time choosing names for characters, horses, profiles, and other in-game elements, experimenting with how a name looks can make that choice more personal. A Cursive Name Generator</ a> offers a simple way to explore flowing lettering and find a distinctive name style before typing it into a game or using it for a gaming profile.
It’s surprising how something as simple as connecting a keyboard can make naming and customization on a console more convenient. Features like this give players more freedom to personalize their gaming experience, especially when creating character names or profile identities. For anyone who enjoys experimenting with name styles, a
Cursive Name Generator can provide creative lettering ideas that give a chosen name a distinctive handwritten look before adding it to a game, username, or personal gaming project.
