The next season of Pokémon the Series: Sun & Moon will premiere on Friday, May 12 on Disney XD, with two episodes to air starting at 9pm.
The third episode in the season will air at 9am the next morning on Disney XD as well. Further episodes will air each week on Saturday at 9am.

A new season of Ash getting so close to victory only to lose at the last minute at the Pokemon League by having his ass kicked by someone who just so happened to either have a team of legendaries or somehow won because of some other bogus bullshit to hold the character back.
If Ash keeps winning the Leagues, he’ll declare hismelf a Master and end his journey. Only by having to strive to win another (since Orange Islands League) will eh continue onward.

I could’ve sworn this already came out in the US sometime over winter break… oh wellz… Pokémon Company and Nintendo did a good job syncing up release dates for their games internationally. It might have been too much to expect them to close the gap on the anime.
