Symphonic Tribute Album ‘Zelda Cinematica’ Reaches Nearly Half Of It’s Kickstarter Goal In Just A Few Hours

With the Zelda Symphony Of The Goddesses touring the world as we speak, it’s to no surprise that the superb music from the beloved Zelda series is getting some well-deserved attention lately. Composer, Sam Dillard, has just opened up a modest Kickstarter for his new project ‘Zelda Cinematica’ today and has already had pledged almost half of its goal of $5,000 in just a few hours.

Zelda Cinematica is a musical tribute to The Legend Of Zelda series re-imagined as a film score; the third in a line of similar albums following Metroid and Chrono Cinematica, the latter based on the hit RPG Chrono Trigger. The goal is to produce CDs and possibly vinyl albums with re-prints of Metroid and Chrono CDs as well if there is enough funding. Part of the Kickstarter reward tiers also allow backers to choose their favourite Zelda songs for guaranteed inclusion in the album.

  1. King Kalas X3 {Greatness Awaits. This use to be something that awaited those for all consoles. It's sad it's mostly just a PS4 slogan these days. Maybe Nintendo will get back to that greatness with the Switch. Only time will tell.}

    If Metroid Cinematica never got shut down, I guess this one is safe from a C&D letter, too.
