The ARMS Twitter account has detailed the various ways you can play the upcoming brawler ARMS for the Nintendo Switch and there’s a play style for everyone. There are five control schemes: Dual Joy-Cons, Joy-Con Grip, Handheld, Single Joy-Con, and Pro Controller and you can check them all out, below.
Using the pro controller gives you more precise punches.
Guarding and punching are highly responsive and easy with motion controls.
A tricky version to master with the odd button spacing.

Why use a thumbstick click to block for most of the control schemes? For single Joy-Con I can understand due to the limited amount of buttons, but the ZR, L and ZL buttons is free on the other control schemes for crying out loud.

Psh, dual Joy-Cons are the *only* way to play this one. I can’t see anyone sticking to the other methods, especially not single Joy-Con.
