The animated Castlevania series was announced back in February, but now it’s finally here. In both the U.K and U.S, the first four episodes of Castlevania are now available on Netflix. Each episode is about 25 minutes long, a standard length for an animated series. If you’re on the fence about checking it out, Netflix released this teaser trailer last month.

This is the full season. It was renewed for a second season with 8 episodes though.
Lol really ? Pretty short. I usually expect about 11 or 12 episodes per season usually for anime. Well I’ll enjoy this mini series nonetheless
Consider the 1st season as a pilot movie of sorts. It’s to test to see if they can make it into a full fledged Netflix Original Series. And if they have already renewed it for a 2nd season with more episodes, I’d have to imagine, and hope, that Season 1 is already doing well.

Gotta say that this is amazing! Its gorey, stays true to the original (somewhat) and has likeable characters with a good story, definetly a must watch for any gamer
Since it’s only 4 episodes, I’m gonna try to take my time with it. I already watched episode 1 around 4-5 am this morning my time. I’ll watch episode 2 the next time I make myself a midnight, or early morning snack before sleepy time.
This show is Netflix’s best animated series so far!
But we need more than 4 episodes!
Season 2 needs at least 12-16 episodes!
Now if they can make Castlevaina can they make a Metal Gear Solid animated series as well?
Maybe not “super R-rated” but I’d love an animated Metroid series. Hopefully it wouldn’t turn out like Other M.
