Nintendo has a strict online presence when it comes to their IP, but it seems that Nintendo Switch ROMs are already beginning to appear online. Although they are all currently unusable, Breath of the Wild and other Switch games have been dumped into ROMs and uploaded. Consoles like the NES and even the Wii can be fully emulated now, but it’s early days for their latest console. I imagine that Nintendo will quickly try and deal with the problem, but they’re all available for now.
It begins.
So the war is started. What we can expect, they don’t lose time.

Commander, sir, we must unleash the Nintenjas ASAP!
Is this some sort of cybernet police from Nintendo?
what we can do Commander?
||Increase our hunt…||
Understood.
Technology will always advance from both sides.
Just don’t resort to piracy until AFTER Nintendo has moved on from the Switch, years from now.
Woop, Woop saving soooo much money now i know about this the consoles worth it. It’s modding time!
All consoles eventually get hacked. A dumped rom means very little. Shoot, It wasnt until late last year that the Vita was fully hacked with henkaku and roms had been floating for years.
Well with Modern Nintendo, the hackers are going to be found, prosecuted and possible sued as Kimishima doesn’t fuck around compared to Iwata who was just too lovely to go after Hackers.
Kimishima is just cold blooded, no mercy from him
No mercy to those rats !!
wii went through this too i think
Every console, and not only Nintendo console, had this problem.

“Consoles like the NES and even the Wii can be fully emulated now” Fucking bullshit! The 6502 CPU, which the NES uses has only recently been reverse engineered. This means that before 6 years ago it was absolutely impossible to fully emulate even the NES, and it’s still impossible with any other console! Today’s hacky emulators do not emulate the consoles correctly, they just replace instructions done by the console with instructions done by your computer. That’s why it takes so long for virtual console games to eppear in the eshop, because every game has to be checked and the emulator has to be adjusted to it. The last time I used an emulator, not even all SNES games worked poperly, many of them had issues with the different layers.
I have to say thank you for explain to me some little things about the reverse engineering. Maybe it will be something that I will study when I got some free time.
Not good for Nintendo. This means many people will not buy Nintendo games which isn’t good.
we’re almost there, fellas. we’ll be playing switch games in 4k in no time.
Nintendo should release a $40 Switch OS for PC that emulates eShop games so people who can’t obtain a Switch can still buy a pair of joycons or pro controller and play Switch games which is where most of Nintendo’s Switch $$$ is coming from.
