Sonic Forces Day One Edition Includes Avatar Costumes

If you are planning to purchase Sonic Forces on launch day then you will be pleased to know that the Day One edition of the game includes an added extra. You’ll be able to get a free avatar costume to dress your custom character up. The Sonic Forces Day One Edition includes 6 pieces of DLC which include various art cards. The news was discovered via a retailer listing. Here’s the SEGA characters you can dress up as:

  • Jet Set Radio
  • NiGHTS into Dreams
  • Super Monkey Ball
  • Puyo-Puyo Tetris

  1. This is actually really awesome! I’m a big fan of both Super Monkey Ball and Jet Set Radio, and I’ve started getting into Puyo after its latest release on the Switch(fingers crossed for some cosmetics based on Sig or Amitie!).

I was already planning on getting the game at launch so I can’t wait to use this stuff on my character! Gotta give you props SEGA :D

  2. They’re just doing this because they know that people would rather wait for a price drop on this game, which has custom avatars replacing other Sonic characters, and a plot written by Graff.

And people will fall for it because they’ll be locked out of this content after ONE DAY. It’s sick.

This game is STILL part of my Christmas queue.

  3. “Here’s the SEGA characters you can dress up as” *lists game titles*
whoa I can dress up as jet set radio, the man himself.

for real though that’s good to know since I was probably going to buy the game on launch anyway.

  4. Ridley X3 {R.I.P. Chester Bennington of Linkin' Park. Thank you for the awesome music. You will be missed. *cries*} says:

Least it’s not locked behind an extremely hard to get figurine that’s stocked with very shitty stock.
