Check Out The New Metroid: Samus Returns Trailer

Metroid: Samus Returns will be heading to the Nintendo 3DS on 15th September, and in the run up to the game’s launch, Nintendo has uploaded a new trailer to their YouTube channel.

The trailer features snippets of footage from the game, which is a re-imagining of the 1991 Game Boy game Metroid II: Return of Samus. You can check it out below:

I’m so glad the protrusions on the shoulder armor pads are back. That was my only fucking gripe with the Other M redesign of the iconic Power Suit.

  2. Glad to see the gravity suit back. Its been 13 years (if I am not mistaken) since the last appearance of this suit which was in Metroid Zero Mission.

Zero Mission originally released in February of 2004 so about 12 years & over 6 months ago so 13 is a good assumption if you round it up.

      1. Thanks. I only knew the year of its release. Also thanks for telling me the month of its release. Metroid is one of my two favorites franchises.
