Dam this was unexpected for me. It’s a big week for switch with Pokemon, dragonballZ, and this releasing.
Dig had humble roots, starting off as digital-only on the 3DS. I played the original version on that platform.
The gameplay was insanely addicting. The incremental upgrades were satisfying, as the platforming and grinding.
However there was very little in the way of endgame content, or even NG+ content. Once you burn through the main game (and you will), you’re left with that unpleasant “I want more” feeling. Hopefully those issues are addressed with Dig 2.
