Minecraft Better Together Update Should Arrive On Nintendo Switch This Winter

Microsoft has started to release the Minecraft Better Together update for various platforms but unfortunately the Nintendo Switch version isn’t quite ready. The company confirmed that it’s still coming to platform but users should expect it sometime this winter. Here’s what they had to say on the official blog:

We’re still working on getting this new version of Minecraft ready for players on Nintendo Switch. We want to make sure that everything is ready to bring this platform onboard, and there’s a lot of work to do to make that happen. After all, no one has ever done anything like this before in the history of gaming. We expect to be ready with the free Better Together Update on Switch this winter.

  1. }{ You would undoubtedly be better off with the PC version, which contains all the content of the console versions, plus mods, more texture packs, custom character skins… server plugins… I could go on, but the point is made… }{

    1. Not to mention parrots. I have to agree with you Cid. For Minecraft, PC has the better controls, more user created content, first dibs on updates, endless worlds (although that will come to consoles with this new update), more End Dungeons, more settings for world creation (want big vains of diamonds on every layer? You can do it. Want the world to be swarming with monster spawner rooms? You can do that too), and lots more.
      Personally, I just prefer the mouse and keyboard over controllers in this game. And in Subnautica too, you should try that one out.
