Some interesting figures have surfaced thanks to Japanese publication Famitsu. In the month of September, in Japan, the Nintendo Switch was the best-selling console in the territory. 168,810 Switch consoles were sold with the PlayStation 4 coming in second place selling 114,630 units in total. To compare, 254,289 Switch consoles were sold in the month of August.
