Kick Off The Holiday Season With Mario And Other Popular Nintendo Characters

Visiting the mall during the holidays and trying to check off everyone on your shopping list can be stressful. But Nintendo is here to help! From Nov. 11 to Dec. 17, Nintendo is opening pop-up experiences at 17 malls across the country, allowing shoppers to try out the hit Nintendo Switch system and the portable Nintendo 3DS family of systems, along with games like The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Super Mario Odyssey, FIFA 18 and Pokkén Tournament DX for Nintendo Switch, and Metroid: Samus Returns and Mario Party: The Top 100 for Nintendo 3DS.

“We want to bring smiles to people’s faces this holiday with experiences the whole family can enjoy,” said Doug Bowser, Nintendo of America’s Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “The Nintendo Holiday Experience is a great opportunity for people to try Nintendo Switch and Nintendo 3DS, this season’s must-have holiday items.”

  • Natick Mall in Natick, Massachusetts
  • Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg, Illinois

  1. Other popular Nintendo characters…where’s Metroid? Where’s F-Zero? Pokémon? Star Fox? Smash Bros.? Mario Kart 9? Virtual Console? No? All I see is two typical top dogs of Nintendo; Mario and Zelda.
