Japanese gamers searching for the giant Detective Pikachu amiibo will be disappointed to hear that it has pretty much sold out in Japan. Multiple retailers such as Rakuten Books, Amazon Japan, Bic Camera, Yodobashi Camera, HMV, and AmiAmi, have sold out of the lucrative figure. It’s the first amiibo to sell out this quickly in some time.

I feel bad for Japanese Amiibo collectors. Hopefully it’ll be back in stock to pre-order over there other wise some of them might have to import it from somewhere else for double the price.
