Bethesda has confirmed today via Twitter that their friends over at Panic Button will be handling the Nintendo Switch version of Wolfenstein 2. The team over at Bethesda hope to share more news about the Nintendo Switch version with fans soon.

Good. What they did with Doom was as good a job as anyone could possibly hope to expect. I look forward to seeing how Wolfenstein turns out.

Doom had no right to look and play as well as it did on the Switch. Panic Button made almost all of the right decisions.

Panic Button has done really well so far with porting games over to meet the Switch’s hardware, most notably with Doom and Rocket League. Both of those games, for what the Switch can achieve as a handheld hybrid, perform well and the added portability is a bonus. I’m really excited to see some Wolfenstein 2 footage on the Switch.
Crossing my fingers for solid 720P 30FPS in the portable, Doom looks fantastic at 600p, but the 720p would blow my mind.

I don’t know, I think they could had done a better job, at least a stable 720p 30fps, instead of ultra low settings, 600p, 25fps

Doom and Rocket League are two of the best ports for the console, Panic Button seem to know what they’re doing (and I’m sure they’ll have learned a lot from Doom so that they can make Wolf2 even better)
You have to remember that Wolf2 is MUCH more visually and computationally demanding than Doom though. I’m still holding my breath, but I’m fairly confident in Panic Button.
