Atelier Lydie & Suelle Will Only Feature Japanese Voice Overs with Subtitles

Koei Tecmo has confirmed today that the western version of Atelier Lydie & Suelle won’t include English voice-overs. Instead the game will feature the original Japanese voice actors and will have English subtitles. This is a slight change from previous Atelier games that were dubbed in English. Atelier Lydie & Suelle: Alchemists of the Mysterious Painting will be released on March 30th in Europe and March 27th in North America.

  1. I was initially disappointed when Tokyo Mirage Sessions did this but when I was actually playing the game it didn’t make much difference so it’s probably not a big deal.

  2. Infinite Kalas X3, The Sonyendo King

This is not unusual. Unless it’s Dead or Alive or the Ninja Gaiden games, most games published by Koei Tecmo rarely have English subtitles.
