The recent data from Media Create has revealed that The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild on the Nintendo Switch and Wii U has sold one million units in Japan at retail.
The Nintendo Switch version of the game accounts for 871,528 units and the Wii U version accounts for another 133,024 units. We haven’t had recent numbers for the Wii U version, so it could be more. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is the first Zelda title since The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time on the Nintendo 64 to cross over one million sales in Japan.
XD If only they actively killed the Pii U, Switch Zelda would’ve hit 1 million alone.
