Michael Jackson Sent SEGA A Demo Tape For Sonic 3 Music

It’s long been rumoured that Michael Jackson had some involvement in the music for the classic Sonic 3 and now new information in a YouTube video by ManWhoRuns seems to confirm this. The information was shared by Sonic’s creator Naoto Oshima.

“To promote the launch of the final volume of The Untold History of Japanese Game Developers, I am sharing this segment of interview with Sonic the Hedgehog creator Naoto Ohshima, in addition to a short editorial I wrote on how the mystery of Michael Jackson’s involvement with Sonic 3 has held everyone’s interest for over 20 years.”

    1. After watching the completionist video on this the other day, he said that MJ wasnt satisfied how the audio came out for the game so he took his name out of the game.
