Some of you may have explored the Deus Ex franchise on the Wii U but it’s been quite some time since we heard about a new game in the franchise. David Anfossi of Eidos Montreal has reassured fans that the series isn’t dead or canned though refused to say whether a new game in the franchise was in the works. It could be revealed during E3 which takes place next month in L.A.
Many of you have been wondering about the future of Deus Ex: here's the word from our Head of Studio @DavidAnfossi. We're grateful for your continued support – all of us here at @EidosMontreal love the Deus Ex franchise as much as you do! 💛 https://t.co/vJEm6ssLtb

Deus Ex for the Switch confirmed
Pingback: Eidos Montreal Says “Deus Ex Is Not Dead”
Wasn’t Mankind Divided just released in 2016? Why would anyone think the series is dead?
Hitman also released in 2016 and was canned by Square Enix due to it’s poor performance. Mankind Divided also showed somewhat lackluster performance on launch which gave people a legitimate reason to worry about it’s future, so it’s a relief to hear that kind of a confirmation.
Eurogamer reported on it not long after the game’s release, after it was revealed that Square Enix had a deal with Marvel to make movies based on the Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy.
