Here’s A Look At The Lanyards That Nintendo Has For E3 2018

Every E3, Nintendo gives away some lanyards to attendees. Well, a Twitter user has revealed the lanyards that Nintendo has for this year’s E3. One of them is completely Smash Bros. themed, and another includes various Nintendo games, such as Mario Tennis Aces. We’ve included the tweet, which has a picture of the lanyards, down below. Feel free to check it out.

  1. The lanyard is not a prediction of anything. They probably had some employee make the lanyards, and they were like, “Put Smash on it.” So the employee found a picture of the current revealed Smash logo and put smash on it.

I mean, come on, look at the other one. There is absolutely nothing new on it.

With that said, I wish I had one.

  2. I’ve been saying that Nintendo would take a page from God of War (PS4)’s book for a while now and just call the new game “Super Smash Bros”. No one would care or complain. It’s Smash, kind of self-explanatory.

Also, that other one with ARMS and Splatoon 2? I really wish I had. I just really wish there was more ARMS merch period, haha.

      1. Right? It’s simplistic and it gets the job done. Super Smash Bros. (2018) lets us know that the game is just that: the Super Smash Bros. game from 2018.

  3. The inclusion of an image of Link, if meaningful at all, can be explained about a zillion other better ways than a LOZ announcement at E3 2018 eg. Next to Mario, he’s Nintendo’s biggest icon. That said, I am really hoping there is a LOZ announcement at E3 2018!
