Nintendo is planning to support Mario Tennis Aces long after launch. The recently-released Nintendo Switch game, which launched worldwide on June 22, is getting downloadable content (DLC) in the form of additional playable characters. Diddy Kong, Birdo and Koopa Paratroopa are among the athletes that will be joining the roster sometime in the fall. Nintendo has confirmed that the trio will be made available as free content. A more specific release window has yet to be announced, but stay tuned for any updates.

Love free dlc Nintendo lol
Nice.
I know it’s free, and a person can’t complain too much. But why didn’t they have these characters in the game in the first place? Instead of giving them as DLC so shortly after release. Oh well, whatever.
Oops! I didn’t read that they were coming this fall until after my last comment.
I imagine Kamek, Boom Boom, and Shy Guy will also come out this way.
Nice addition. MK8D still lacks Birdo which is why the game isn’t 100%
