Many of you who owned a classic system such as the SEGA Mega Drive will remember the super-fun Road Rash which was a motorbike racing game with a twist where you could knock your opponents of their bike using a variety of lethal weapons. That franchise is sadly dead, but its spiritual successor Road Redemption is available now on the Nintendo Switch. The company behind the game has released the following trailer which you can watch below.

Tripwire Interactive, developers of the award-winning Killing Floor and Red Orchestra franchises – and publisher for Road Redemption in partnership with developers at EQ-Games and Pixel Dash Studios – announced today that Road Redemption, the beloved spiritual successor to Road Rash, launches today for the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system and Nintendo Switch system with a version for Xbox One, the all-in-one games and entertainment system from Microsoft coming soon. Following a successful crowdfunding campaign and Steam launch with overwhelmingly positive user, Steam Curator, and critic reviews, Tripwire Interactive is ready to bring Road Redemption’s unique brand of driving combat and motorcycle mayhem to console systems.

Available to purchase today on the official Road Redemption launch day micro-site (http://roadredemption.tripwireinterac…) PlayStation Store and Nintendo eShop for $19.99 USD, Road Redemption finds players leading a biker gang on an epic journey across the United States in a driving combat road rage adventure.
