The Game Bakers, who were behind the indie hit Furi, have announced a brand new indie project today titled Haven. The game is in development for consoles and PC and is marked with a 2020 release date. The studio revealed a teaser trailer for Haven which you can view below. More details should emerge in the coming months.
Play as two lovers who escaped to a lost planet. The only thing that matters is to stay together. From the creators of Furi. A RPG to play solo or with a special someone. Coming to PC and consoles.
Haven’t played furi? Is it story based or more action oriented ?
Me either. Wikipedia says that Furi is an action shoot ’em up. You can play it using 8th gen consoles. I think it’s also a combination of action and adventure. It’s been highly praised for its music.
It’s more action. It’s a boss rush game. It has story elements but the mainstay is the combat system.
Looks pretty interesting. I’m looking forward to hearing more about it.
I was interested in Furi for the art style but put off by it mainly being a succession of boss fights. This sounds more up my alley and looks great again so will be watching this one.
We could do with more games where we play as a couple. I’m already sold on this.

I’m not going to judge this yet, but I really hope that the singleplayer mode is at least decent…
