Ubisoft Reveals Details About Assassin’s Creed III Remastered On Nintendo Switch

One Nintendo Switch title that was leaked before an official announcement was made is Assassin’s Creed III Remastered. Today, Ubisoft shared some details about what to expect from the Nintendo Switch version of the revised Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 title. You’ll get HD Rumble to feel the action, along with touchscreen support, which could come in handy, and more. Assassin’s Creed III Remastered will be available on Nintendo Switch on the 21st of May. Here’s the details provided by Ubisoft:

This release will include improved ergonomics and gameplay mechanics, and will also make use of exclusive Nintendo Switch features, such as:

  • HD Rumble – provides an additional layer of feedback during gameplay
  • Touch screen interface – enhances accessibility for game menus
  • Motion Control – ensures an intuitive controlled feeling during distant weapon aiming
  • Specific UI design – provides HUD adaptation for different display modes (Docked or Handheld gameplay)

  1. I’m waayyyy more excited for Assassin’s Creed 3 on the switch than any sane woman should be.
    Assassin’s Creed would work so well on a portable. Liberation was soooo close to being great, just held back by the vita.

  2. I find it funny that there is still no mention of whether the physical version will have both games on the card or if it will be half physical/half digital. Knowing Ubisoft being the cheap bastards they are, like Capcom as well, they will cheap out and only put the smaller game on the card and make AC3 digital only, I wouldn’t put it past them at this point, hell I’m counting on them to pull this cheap tactic now.

  3. I just want watch dogs and splinter cell games. I hate how ubisoft wants me to buy games i’m not interested in.
