Capcom Platinum Games Sales Update (21st May 2019)

Capcom has had a long history of producing rich and high budget titles for console users. The company has updated its platinum sales page showing which of its many series and individual games have performed best. Here is the update list for 21st May 2019:

  1. Hope we can se some new Dino Crisis games from them — like RE2 Remake.
    I knew Ace Attorney wasn’t a bestseller, but it 6.9 millions on 29 SKUs was a bit lower than what I would’ve expected.
    MH is doing it pretty well^^

    1. I think they’ve done pretty ok seeing as the Switch is about 3 years old. Dragons Dogma was a nice addition to the Switch library.
      Capcom are slow starters in most consoles. It takes them a while to really get support going. I think we’ll see a very decent game from them by next year.
      The Switch is the best selling console in Japan. It is now difficult for them to ignore the platform.

  2. How the hell is Onimusha so high n the last list yet we still don’t see a new Onimusha game this gen, especially given how story driven single player, samurai, action, and survival horror are all hot trends right now, which Onimusha literally has all of them?!
    Either Capcom is slow as hell when it comes to trends worth jumping on or they’re stupid and lazy, I’m thinking Capcom are all the above.
