Japan: Famitsu sales for 18th September 2019

The latest Japanese sales charts are now in via Famitsu and it is Monster Hunter World Iceborne and the Nintendo Switch console which reign supreme this week. There were a number of new releases this week including Borderlands 3 and Daemon X Machina. Daemon X Machina entered at no.4 and Borderlands 3 entered at no.3. Here’s the best-sellers this week in Japan:

Software Sales (followed by lifetime sales)

    1. That’s an interesting point, it didn’t occur to me that Switch Lite would trigger a wave of new customers.

      Although I’d think Switch games across the board would get an influx of sales and the more popular ones would take the lead still. Old Games like Mario Kart, Smash, Mario Maker, as well as Link’s Awakening coming out the same day as the Switch Lite, will probably shove aside DxM pretty quickly
