Shovel Knight originally released 5 years ago, in 2014. Since then, it has received some DLC and has been released on many platforms. One of these platforms, the Nintendo Switch, was mentioned in an interview that Destructoid did with Yacht Club Games’ Sean Velasco and David D’Angelo. They said that “25% of total sales on all platforms” came from the Switch. Velasco and D’Angelo called this sales data “wild”.
25% of Shovel Knight’s “total sales on all platforms” have come from the Nintendo Switch

That is kinda amazing since Shovel Knight launched June 26, 2014 and the Nintendo Switch launched March 3, 2017.
I bought it on Wii U around the time of launch. It was so good I decided I had to buy it again on PC AND Switch. These devs deserve the praise they get.
