Nintendo’s president, Shuntaro Furukawa, has confirmed at the company’s latest financial results briefing that there are “more than 15 million accounts worldwide with a paid membership to Nintendo Switch Online, and those sales occupy a certain presence within our digital sales”. Furukawa continued, saying that “while new members continue to join, there are also those who do not renew their memberships. We will continue to enhance the appeal of the service to bring more features and more fun to Nintendo Switch”.

Tbh only really using this service cause it’s cheap, and to go online in mk, splatoon, mm2, and soon to be ACNH, also the neat vc gems that I never actually finish or got to play (this is coming from 2000 born boi) most of nes/snes games I never actually experience till now, hopefully they add more cause I never actually got to experience the gamecube, and I played a few n64 games on emulator but never actually beated them.

You’re 20? You’re that young and you’re one of the most decent and well mannered guys here. You act like your older than 20 at least. You surprised me.

Honestly can’t believe they got that many people to pay for it. I mean of course, people want to play online, but there really is no good incentive to use it. Even if its cheap, the virtual console games aren’t exciting, they have small bonuses only available to members, and a few more stuff that were so irrelevant that I forgot to mention, it’s still not worth my money lol. I’m still waiting for them to hopefully release Gamecube or Wii Games on their games library, then maybe it’ll finally have something worth buying it for.

Or if you want to cheat them, buy a game on Amazon with a 12-month code, use the code, and then send it back for a full refund. Voila, free online for a year.

The first part of your sentence answers the second half.
“Even if its cheap, the virtual console games aren’t exciting”
Highly subjective. IMO, the VC games beat the pants off the free games I get with PS+ on average.

Perhaps they could celebrate with some more classic games?
I do hope that they bring Mother, Earthbound, Super Mario RPG and eventually N64 and GBA games to the Switch.
