Reggie Fils-Aime, former president and chief operating officer of Nintendo of America, has revealed a new podcast is on its way that will feature himself and journalist Harold Goldberg. The podcast aims to raise money for the New York Video Game Critics Circle nonprofit’s mentoring work amid the COVID-19 pandemic. It is titled ‘Talking Games with Reggie and Harold’ and was announced via a Go Fund Me page that you view here.
Here’s an excerpt from their official mission statement:
We are raising funds for a new initiative to bring games and games writing courses to high school students in homeless shelters in New York City. While everyone has been hard hit by this terrible COVID-19 virus in some way, the hardest hit, underserved communities in the Bronx need our help. And no community has been hit harder than students in homeless shelters, who live in complex situations in the best of times and are having trouble even connecting to a WiFi hotspot right now.

Oh snap, COVID-10, you mean there’s another one? /s
Richard knows something I didn’t! Ha, edited for him.
Thanks dude! 🤝
Mmm how interesting.
Normally when you see an image of a famous person’s face (before the article title text can even load) on this site, it’s never a good sign. We just lost Peppy Hare’s VA, and I’m still having Iwata flashbacks from 2015.
Sorry about that! Glad this post was good news though :)
