  1. I’m a little curious. I played this for the gamecube and I remember it being alright but… is it really regarded as a cult classic? I kinda put this game on the same shelf as… say.. Tak and the Power of Juju.

Basically, is there really fans of this game who loved it so much that they want to play it again or is it… idk… more like people are nostalgic and want a 3D collect-a-thon and an old Spongebob game is a trustworthy enough vehicle for that?

    1. This game sure is a classic, you have no idea how big and appreciated this game is, it’s one of those games based on brands that are surprisingly really good, it’s a solid platform game with great emphasis on moving, the game was big in speedrunning with a lots of competition, it is remembered and replayed until today, seeing it receiving the Crash style remaster is a amazing surprise.

  2. I’m curious too. I remember liking this game as a kid but I never regarded it as a classic. I also think THQ Nordic puts out a lot of trashy unpolished games, so I’m skeptical whether or not it’ll be worth buying.
