IGN has released a list containing their 25 best racing games of all time. Burnout 3 managed to make the top spot. As for any Nintendo games, Wave Race 64 managed to make it to #23. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe managed to chart the highest, at #4. You can see the full list of games down below.

There’s some good racers there, but i can’t believe GX isn’t in there.
It was def one of my favourite racers.
It’s IGNs list, so it’s debatable.
I think get the gamers at home to vote on there fave racers and there will more Mario karts and f zero in that list
I think they were only doing one game per franchise so that’s why there’s only one Mario Kart.

No Doddy Kong Racing? That was my game on N64. I loved them codes at the end of the credits after beating the game.

You guyz have named some nice games like f zero and diddy kong racing that is not on the list but there is a game i really like my favorite racing game and it is not there… It is called Tokyo xtreme racer 2 on dreamcast or almost the same game but some difference there is Tokyo xtreme racer zero for playstation 2. I recommend the dreamcast version, this game is unique you wont find anything like it, it is an adventure you beat rivals and teams and bosses on the highway at night its really addictive.
Not adding Crash team racing here made all of this top worthless.
Not sure where I’d put them in the list, but I’d add F-Zero GX, NFS: Underground 2, and Star Wars Episode 1 Racer.
CTR should be number one
