2020 has clearly been a strange year so far, however, we have had a number of great video games regardless of which platform you play on. Highlights include Animal Crossing: New Horizons on Switch, Final Fantasy VII Remake on the PlayStation 4 and Half-Life: Alyx on PC. Respected publication TIME has listed their favourite games of the year so far and it’s a pretty good list. Check out which titles they proclaim to be the best games of 2020 thus far.

I’m surprised Trials of Mana didnt make the cut. Square Enix did an excellent job with the graphics and the voices. It was Final Fantasy II after all too. Then Trials of Mana split from Final Fantasy franchise to it’s own.
Trials of Mana is a perfect example of what a more faithful Final Fantasy 7 Remake could have been like
