Nintendo has confirmed that more details about today’s announcement of Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity for the Nintendo Switch system will be shared on Saturday, 26th September. This is likely to be the unannounced title on Koei Tecmo’s Tokyo Game Show 2020 Online live stream. Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity is set 100 years before the events of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 and is due out on the Nintendo Switch on 20th November.
So we have
September = Super Mario 3D All Stars.
October = Mario Kart Live Home Circuit, Super Mario Bros battle royale, Pikmin 3 deluxe.
November = this.
December = New 2D Metroid or Metroid Prime Trilogy?
If this actually happens I will get very crazy I mean the December thing
This is exciting! I’ve always felt like I hardly knew anything about the Champions and that details about the past were too vague.
The Champions’ Ballad delved a little more into their stories and personalities (I find it funny that a big guy like Daruk cowers in fear at the sight of a common dog), but not enough so. This is Nintendo’s chance to flesh them out even further.
I also predict there will be other characters playable, like Impa, Robbie, maybe Kohga’s ancestor, etc.
