The Super Monkey Ball series announcer has recently been teasing Monkey Ball related news and his latest Instagram post is the most blatant yet. Matt Brian took to the social network to post an image of himself playing Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD on a friend’s Nintendo Switch system. He says in the accompanying text that “September will be amazing for what’s to come.” So it seems likely that we should expect a special Monkey Ball announcement from SEGA sometime soon in relation to the beloved series.
Can’t wait to learn about Super Monkey Ball Retro™ for the first time!
Honestly, as cool as a new game would be… I’d be fine with a collection of the first and second games.
I forgot about this game. I think i still have this on my Wii.
Wow this brings back memories. It wasnt my favorite game but it was good enough for me to get great hours out of it.
Please, please be a remaster of Super Monkey Ball 1 and 2; I would buy that/those in a heartbeat.
Oh I PRAY that it’s either straight up 1 and 2 remasters or the rumoured SMB Retro
