Japan: Switch family sells 83K and 8 Nintendo Switch games in top ten

It’s Thursday which means it is time to check out the latest physical Famitsu sales charts direct from Japan. Nintendo continues to blow away the competition as it has shifted 83,920 Switch family units compared to the PlayStation 4, which only sold 2,161 units. The No.1 game this week is the Switch fitness title Ring Fit Adventure and the highest new release is Minecraft Dungeons: Hero Edition on Nintendo Switch. Here’s the best-sellers for the week of 7th September, 2020 to 13th September, 2020.

  1. Isn’t it pretty normal for this to happen? I mean why would someone buy PS4 and XBO games when the new consoles are a couple of months away.
