Cross-platform play will finally be coming to Mortal Kombat which means those of you with the Nintendo Switch version will be able to play with PlayStation 4 and Xbox One players and vice versa. The news was announced on Twitter by Warner Bros Games Latino account. It’s not clear when cross-platform play will be implemented, but it could go live when Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate launches on Tuesday, 17th November. Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate contains the base game along with Kombat Pack 1 & 2 and the Aftermath expansion.

I would have never bought Mortal Kombat Aftermath if I knew there was still going to be another version of Mortal Kombat 11. I thought Aftermath was going to be the final version. Seems I have to wait forever before the final, fully complete edition of each game is released.
