XSEED Games is teasing 2 unannounced titles for 2021

XSEED Games had a very busy 2020, releasing 11 games during the year. Out of those 11 games, 5 of them were released on the Nintendo Switch, along with a PC port of Daemon X Machina. Among the 5 Switch games released by XSEED this year were Rune Factory 4 Special, No More Heroes and No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle.

As for 2021, it’s already looking promising for XSEED fans. Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town and Rune Factory 5 have already been announced for the Nintendo Switch. And there may be more to come. That’s because XSEED Games is teasing 2 unannounced titles for 2021. Platforms haven’t been announced for either game yet, but it’s very possible that Nintendo’s console could be one of them. If they make any more Switch announcements, we’ll let you know.

  1. How has it been a busy year for them when Rune Factory 4 Special, No More Heroes and No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle are just ports that require minimal effort.

I am excited for Story of Seasons and Rune Factory though. It will be my first since the 2012 title (before they rebranded from Harvest Moon to SoS)

    1. Actually, XSeed owned the Harvest Moon name in the west. Marvelous wanted to self-publish SoS in the west but XSeed wanted to keep the Harvest Moon name, so Marvelous calls it SoS over here now. XSeed has nothing to do with SoS. Harvest Moon is now it’s own series under ownership of XSeed.

Or did I misread your second paragraph?
