LEGO Sonic Green Hill Zone set announced, coming next month

It seems that the leaks were correct and that The LEGO Group have been busy preparing a special Sonic the Hedgehog LEGO set. The set is based on the famous Green Hill Zone which made its debut in the first Sonic the Hedgehog game on the SEGA Mega Drive (Genesis) and you can get your hands on the 1125 piece set on 1st January for $70. You can view all the details here on the official product page.

      1. Undead Berg is just very iconic and nostalgic for a Dark Souls fan… both in tone and level design. To recreate that level in Legos would be pretty wild, but probably impossible.

Plus it’d just be interesting to see them make a Lego person who can move their arms to salute the sun.

  1. I bought a home alone house as a treat for myself. It’s ridiculous, but I am looking forward to putting it together on a snowy day soon.

  2. Just so you know, this was not leaked, rather it was approved as a LEGO Ideas set; the final product simply hadn’t been shown off till now.

  3. Oooh, I like this. If it does well, I can only hope we see more sets, with more characters and locations. Like…

-Chemical Plant Zone set w/ Tails
-Stardust Speedway Zone set w/ Metal Sonic
-Sky Sanctuary Zone set w/ Knuckles
-Casino Night Zone set w/ Amy
    -Radical Highway set w/ Shadow
-Water Palace Zone set w/ Blaze
    -Crisis City set w/ Silver
-and a special set of Station Square with Super Sonic and Chaos 0/Perfect Chaos

I would buy all of these.
