Many of you most likely remember the excellent Wii launch title Excite Truck and also Excitebots: Trick Racing. The arcade-based racing games were developed by Monster Games and were published by Nintendo. It turns out that Monster Games has now been acquired by iRacing Motorsports Simulations who are behind iRacing Simulation, which is a popular subscription-based racing simulator. Interestingly they had also worked behind the scenes helping port Xenoblade Chronicles to the New Nintendo 3DS, which was a launch game for the slightly more powerful revised Nintendo 3DS model.
