The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask now available for Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Packs members

The iconic Nintendo 64 adventure, The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask, is now available for Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Packs members. To access the game all you need to do is update the Nintendo 64 App on your Switch system. To update the N64 app just simply hover over the app and plus the + button and choose to update and the legendary game will become available. The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask was originally released on the Nintendo 64 console back in 2000 and later received a remake on the Nintendo 3DS system.

  2. Now THIS is the Majora’s Mask I would play on the go now. The 3DS remake was… Shall we say, a kind of a letdown- way too many unnecessary changes.

    I also noted that they didn’t tease which game was coming next like they had with every other release onto the service. This worries me.

    1. Others have guessed it will be Kirby 64 to tie in with next month’s big release. Seems like a reasonable expectation

    1. Higher resolution, yes. Not sure about framerates.
      MM also had higher resolution on the Wii U, possibly also in the Wii VC release. GameXplain released a short graphics comparison today for Majora’s Mask on the Switch, in case you want to see the some differences there for yourself.
