The latest UK boxed video game software charts have arrived and there’s another new No.1 this week in the form of Elden Ring which knocked last week’s No.1 Horizon: Forbidden West from the top spot. As far as the physical best-selling games of the year go it is still Pokemon Legends: Arceus at No.1, Horizon: Forbidden West at No.2 and Elden Ring at No.3. Here’s the GfK UK Boxed Top Ten for the week ending 26th February:

Elden Ring looks sick. I hope it motivates BOTW2 to be better (I’m not talking graphics or visuals btw)
18 hours in. It very much plays like The Elder Scrolls: Dark Souls, Breath of the Wild.
I honestly am not sure what Zelda or Elder Scrolls are going to do to compete because From Software just took what both of those series do best and fully integrated it in with what they themselves already did best. Just being BOTW 2 will not look special next to the Elden Ring.
I really like It , plus I’m still playing. The bosses and fights are really amazing
